"Oh, I'm So Sorry Sir, But Do You Have Another Card?'

Obama's under-used credit card declined in NY | The Kansas City Star

The food blog, Epicurius, captured the images and detailed the order in a Sept. 25 post, saying the first couple ate "two orders of endive salad and burrata with salsa verde, tomatoes, and salt cod croquettes."

"I'm sorry sir our credit agency has heard about the other balances you've incurred as a career professional... and we are not as stupid as those who extended you credit previously..."

Ms Mash had that happen to her the other day. She went to use her Citi card and it was declined. Ran it several times. Called ma and I had no clue what was up. When I got home I checked my email like I usually do and saw a email from my credit union telling me that they saw my Citi card number changed and that they updated all my auto pay accounts. Huh? First I heard of it.

I called Citi and they told me they had a block of number that may have been compromised and they went ahead and canceled them and issued new cards. Would have been nice to get a heads up firsts but OH well.

With all of the breaches and credit card fraud I think that anyone that has not had a card declined is not telling the truth. I carry two credit cards and my debit just in case, one day my credit union had a bleep on their system which declined my credit and debit card.

I moved back to cash and soft wallet.

He should keep a check or two on him at all times when he wants a free meal. I understand that if a president pays by check for something especially a cheap meal the the recipient usually keeps the original check as an investment, and rarely puts it through hoping the value of the signature on the check becomes more valuable than the amount on the check.

Yea, debit is the holy grail when they get the keys to the checking account all hell breaks loose. I'm told that the next wave of fraud is going to be ach checking debits, they get your checking account information which is very easy to get and suck you dry in one swoop.

Separate accounts for different purposes. For example I wouldn't give Paypal my checking account number on the coldest day ever recorded in hell.

Any autopay mistakes you have setup should be separate from your debit and checking.

That happened to me not too long ago, except no notification. All of a sudden all my auto pay bills started getting declined out of nowhere. Nice surprise.
