The only good luxe-truck is one that's had its oil replaced with sodium silicate solution and is running at 6000 rpm. Or one that's wrapped around a phone pole, in flames.

I hate how the popularity of barges in the US reduces the choice of cars that don't blow diseased goat penis.

Yep, because you can pull up in a $90k Suburban and people don't think your a rich prick, but in a used E class you paid $15k for they do...

Truth.

People thought my E55 was a $60k car, when in reality, it was ~$10k. Both of my pickups cost more than that, and people think I'm having money issues...

That's the truth too. My Escape isnt that old, wasnt cheap, and is a practical and dependable vehicle. Gets lost in the parking lot.

My friends 01 AMG? Noticed everywhere... Not practical, fairly reliable, but, was pretty cheap...

All about image right?

For grins, I went to Ford's site and "built" my truck as a 2015 with it's current options. It's far from what I'd call "luxury", with electric 4x4 and power door locks, windows and cruise control.

It topped out at just over 50k. At that rate, I will never replace it, ever...

Heck my Saturn gets attention like that too and it's a sub 10k car at this point.
