Did anyone notice at the 1:40 mark or so the sound stops? Is that because of lack of atmosphere? I had heard that there is no sound in space because sound waves do not travel well in a vacuum.

I watched it lift off from my wife's folk's house in Port Orange. Pretty cool indeed.
