Anyone from Florida?

Guys,

My wife and i are planning to move somewhere in the area of orlando- fl. I needed someone from that area to tell me about
the surrounding area. Someone who can suggest where to buy a house. I have a lot of questions in mind.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jhaycee

thanks for the feedback regarding my inquiry. I didn't know we have a lot of guys from florida here. Anyway, my concerns are:

Can you tell me guys which area near orlando is not a good neighborhood? Is kissimme a nice area to live in ? Is it close to
everything? How are the property taxes there ? Is there a flood prone area which i needed to be careful in central florida? Are the school system really good ?

As much as possible i like to be near to transportation and to the city since my mom needs it. thanks in advance for replying...

jhaycee...

I think Kissimie is nice but to close to Orlando traffic for me.I live in Deltona half way between Daytona and Orlando It's ok but the town is way to big. Heathrow is nice but wow $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. A lot of it is going to be how much you want to spend. The schools here are ok I'm not sure about Orlando but in Daytona they are better if you get into gifted programs. I go to a pricate school at least for this year and we have under 280 people. As for public transportation personally I think you can forget about it at least In Daytona-Deltona It is impossible to go anywhere on the votran buses. I hear Orlando is better with Linx.
Anything else you needed to know?

O ya as for flooding right now no worries we are in a big big drought. I have a sandpit behind my house instead of a lake.
