alarm going off in my rental nissan

hello, i have a nissan rental car here in lima peru. it is parked in a cage in front of the hotel and the alarm has gone off so far at least four times. i tried leavng the car unlocked and locked and so far neither option has worked. it was parked about 1¨from the building before and now i jsut moved it away from the building so its about 8 inches in front and same from the back to an object....can the alarm some how detect it is parked very close to another object?

this is most inconvenient!

any suggestions. think i can take the owners manual and shut it off? can i pull a fuse?

Call the rental company. They might have a solution since this can't be the first time someone has run into this.
