What Happens at Goodwood
Doesn't Stay . . .
One-off Mercedes-Benz 300 SLS 'Porter Special' crashes into rare Lister-Jaguar at Goodwood | Autoweek So what happens next? Well, two drivers are counting their blessings, two insurance companies are probably checking the terms of their policies very, very carefully and two restoration shops are going to be taking on two important commissions. And beautiful old cars will keep on racing ... and sometimes crashing. |

The old saying stands. If you're gonna race cars, you're gonna wreck cars. At least both drivers walked away and these cars will be repaired.

That's a rough day at the track.
The dude in the little Lotus (?) is counting his blessings that it wasn't him! I get a kick out of the elder gentleman in the tan sport coat just casually standing there, taking it all in.

I can't find the clip now, but there's a good one of some folks getting a BRM V16 car being push started including an old codger with a cane being one of the pushing crew.
