Looks like Michael Schumacher isn't getting better

So his wife sold his jet.

Michael Schumacher's wife sells private jet and holiday home

But man, imagine that. Colin McRae dies in a helicopter crash and MS almost kills himself skiing. Arguably both safer than driving race cars.

Ironic....and very sad. I did not like him much until I heard he gave 7 mil of his own money to help people after the Tsunami.

Him and Mansell are probably my favorite F1 drivers. I think attitude goes with the territory. He did win an F1 World Championship in a Ford, with Benetton. Sad to see this. F1 teams at least used to ban their drivers from skiing or at least the black slopes.

He was retired wasn't he? In any case I imagine he was at a point in his career where if he wanted to ski he probably got that in his contract.

The jet has been for sale since last year, I think. The reports about his recovery are mixed, the family has very tight control over information.

The situation seems to be the same for Jules Bianchi, who was injured at Suzuka last year, still in a coma.

Lots of athlete contacts include clauses like this, I've even heard of some that attempted to restrict buying of sports cars or cars deemed dangerous. Usain Bolt (misspelled?) claimed on Top Gear that his contract was worded to stop him from buying sports car, he bought an M3 and promptly totalled it.

Wait! Skidding down a snowy mountain on sticks is dangerous?
