Ya, that's why my wife made us leave! Just kinda kidding.
Growing up in the Pacific northwest, earthquake drills were a normal part of the education. They've really been saying the big one's coming for at least the last 30 years. We'll probably get hit by a tornado here in Minnesota before Seattle gets wiped out, but who knows. The two "minor" earthquakes I did experience in Seattle were pretty freaky. Good article.

thats why I settled in the oldest mountain chain in tennessee.Idaho is a active area with many hotspots,and faults.I left California because I knew sooner or later the big one would hit L.A.Leaving Palos Verde as a Island,like Catalina.
