By the very strange coincidence, I passed one of these on the road today. It actually had a little bit of a top though. I'm not a big fan of the triangular styling, I would rather see something with a smooth body.

I don't think this is competing with the can am or brp or a gold wing or anything like that. These seem to be track focused toys, comparable if anything to the campagne(sp?) t-Rex or Morgan 3 wheeler. I like them, have seen a few on the roads...would love to see how they drive.

I do not see the draw. except for the possible exception of a former motorcyclist that no longer can handle one but still like open air feel. At thirty grand and 28mpg (if I heard correctly) it is not inexpensive or fuel efficient, which could have been a consideration of some. If I were interested I would look at the used market in fall, possible to find someone unloading one before winter cheap.

It's for those sporty vehicle enthusiasts who rightfully see a Miata as an exercise in bloated excess...

For whatever reason there are a TON of them in Columbus.

A friend who I see rarely has one, he had it at cars and coffee one of the last times I saw him. He's got a lot of cars and the next time we ran into each other he was in something else. I was going to try to get a ride out of him, I'm curious to see how they drive.

Isn't that just a very modern Morgan 3-wheeler?

Weeeeird little carcycle. I find it ugly, and can't imagine that the rear end helps in cornering?

I'd rock one. Maybe not the fastest thing out there, maybe not as 'fun' or 'pure' as a 2-wheeled motorcycle. I'm not the most widely driven guy, but I've seen a variety of cars and a few motorcycles. I'm thinking it would still be more fun than anything with 4 wheels (dry weight under 2000lbs...)
Not sure I could put my 9y/o in one, but he'd love it if I could...

to the OP - no, I have never driven one.
