It is one of those few take out foods I approve of. How a rat could land up inserted in a subway item is beyond me.

I thought the owner of the subway franchises was also still fairly young.

Did research on the rat. The rat is actually a small field mouse, which makes more sense being in the spinach from the field.

Still gross, but much more reasonable than a big old rat in the sandwich. Rat makes for a better headline

Cheap lunch meats and veggies, flavorless cheeses, no thanks. If I want a sandwich, I'll go to a real deli, not Slopway. Shame the woman just smeared crap, didn't firebomb the place with her gaseous emanations.

Perhaps your wife never got over the food poisoning issue and dropped by their outlet reciently?

Actually quality does seem to vary as I use them when travelling. The best subway was outside the Buffalo New York area I stopped in many years ago.

They are pretty good locally as well. Some places though not so much.

I think they are the largest in outlet count fast food type of places.

What deli doesn't use "cheap lunch meats?" I've paid past $20 for a sandwich at various places, but don't eat that type of meal with any sort of frequency.
