That result that came to life in a city council meeting on Tuesday. In several hours of public comment the majority of people who spoke opposed changing the ordinance. Some warned of increased sexual assaults, even car accidents, if women were allowed to display their breasts.

That car accident argument was pretty strong. I wonder if they got it from "Seinfeld?"

This was legal in Austin, Texas during the late 70's and early 80's.

And then Reagan was elected and the evil of the do-gooders, who were feeling their power, raised their hand against it.

But during the time it was legal, which was several years, none of the terrible things predicted then or in this recent go around came to pass.

That's state law in NY -- male and female nipples are considered equivalent. Since male nipples are legal, so are female. Really, most people have seen a nipple, don't see the big deal. They're basically non-lethal objects.
