More than a few times here in Scottsdale people mistake me for a doctor by coming up in stores or markets saying "Hi doc!"

Oh, that poor bastard. :D

Lord help the world if there's anyone that looks like me. One of me is bad enough...I can't imagine the damage two of me would do.

I ran into a guy in a locker room once who looked quite a bit like me. He saw me first and remarked on it. It was true but I was happy to have my face and not his.

In May I about fell over when I thought I saw my sister coming into work. She was a doppelganger; i had to explain myself since I was giving her a pretty strange look, showed her a photo of my sister and we all shared a laugh. She was kind enough to let me snap one too.

At the shop where I worked about 20 years ago, I picked up a copy of the local paper a customer left in the waiting-room, to see what looked exactly like my picture on the front page. The headline with the picture was 'Maryland High School Principal Sought on Child Molestation Charges'. Fortunately, they caught the dirtbag before some local cop took the opportunity to drag me out of my car, handcuff me and haul me away!

Happy Motoring, Mark

A good friend of mine has exactly the same name as a fellow who was convicted of some sort of child sex crime. the last name is not common either.

Yikes!

Patrick walks into a bar in Dublin sits down and orders a pint. Damin who he sat next to asks him is he from around here. He answers no from Belfast.
Damin: so am I.
Patrick: What church did you go to.
Damin: St. Patricks
Patrick: same here
Patrick: what Street did you live on.
Damin: Killerny
Patrick: same here
At that point the bar tender picks up the phone, calls home and tells her husband I wont be closing early tonight the O'Malley brothers are here again.
