Traffic altercation

A lane jammer pushes its way into my lane today at the last minute ,she ends up hitting my mirror , I proceed into a gas station along the road ,she follows ,I get out of my car to look at if any damage ,she rolls her window down and asks why I hit her, I walk up and get a real winner ,"I have a witness ,"my son saw everything."I ask the young man ,"really ,ok son what did you see". She tells her son to not say anything .She says to step away from her car ,Im calling someone. Its a waiting game of who drives off first, great again.I decide to walk into the gas station to see if any station cameras caught any feed ,no luck ,walk back out and see a driver pulling up to her vehicle ,its her husband she calls and son close behind ready for a physical altercation ,I said this has gotten out of hand ,Im driving off you can ask your wife what really happened,Then drive away .
In most cases I would just say no damage ,no foul ,since no damage was done to my vehicle but she came out aggressive which just shut any decision to end the event down .Can this escalate anymore?

Report the incident to the police before she calls and tells them some BS story......

Get a roof mounted 360 degree "dash cam" and then integrate proximity sensors connected to automatic weapons (with audible warnings - such as "Warning this vehicle is a-hole resistant")

That's re-inventing the wheel. Just buy a used Phalanx CIWS from your friendly neighborhood arms dealer.

Reminds me of an incident where myself and another driver were both driving up a 2 lane on ramp that became one lane in our POS vehicles. Neither one was giving the right of way, and we ended up bouncing off each other hard when the lane sandwiched. Though in that situation we cruised for a second to see who would pull over first, and when both of us realized neither would, the thumbs up was given and we kept driving
Dented my fender and broke his mirror

I've bumped mirrors before without damage. I'll avoid contact pretty much in any circumstance if I can even if I would have right of way. Life's too short for issues.

I'll put my vehicle in a position that someone might decide to hit it if quarreling over a lane but I'll never make contact.

Haha, that was great thanks for sharing.

Just buy an old, ratty, dented-up Ford F-250. It will scream to the world that you don't give a damn, and no one will want to play chicken with you.

Using your cell phone, first call the police and then take a picture of her license plate.

I cant seem to win with these old mercedes diesels ,women drivers and mashed fenders. It was back in 2013 that I totaled my 83 300cd when a female driver switched her lane without looking.I feel a country and western song could come out of it.

Your mistake was not calling the police in the first place. She hit your car, as I recall, right? Bad way to handle it there as you did, way too volatile IMHO.
