Will mineral oil hurt plywood? Floor for manure spreader

I want to protect some plywood from composted manure and some fresh manure. I was thinking of soaking it with mineral oil but am concerned that the glue in the plywood might be affected. Am I creating a problem?

This will be a floor in a manure spreader and I can take it out later if needed.

Paint would end up in the pasture with the manure so I want something that will soak-in.

My idea of fun has really changed.

In preference to plywood I would use a non rottable composite such as "concrete plywood" (sorry I can only think of the Dutch term Beton multiplex)if you can get it where you are.

This stuff is a fibre matting plus concrete construction that isn't quite as flexible as plywood but it won't rot.

Unless the plywood is marine grade the chances of more or less immediate de-lamination would be high - and even then marine plywood would be a waste for this harsh environment. If you must use plywood consider a plastic coating such as glued on cheapo worktop plastic ****...

I think wolmanized plywood would work well and not benefit from mineral oil application (but not hurt by it either.)

I don't recommend the concrete boards. They will not be flexible enough imho and will crack up and dissipate themselves.

Dry will be fine, just don't leave the spreader sitting with wet manure in it.

Some used or surplus steel might be preferable if avaiiable cheap enough.
Although good plywood in an adequate thickness is not cheap anymore either. I was also considering the wear effects if there are geared drags to move the manure towards the thrower.

Had another thought if the plywood is already bought perhaps something like glued on cheapo vinyl flooring (the sort of thing that used to be put down in kitchens / bathrooms before everyone went tile crazy) might help so long as there's not too much scraping.
