What that extra sock is for
 

Ever do laundry and find you have an odd sock? You think you started with say seven pairs, but then when you go to put them away you have six pairs and an odd one. This happens to me sometimes. I always figure I'll wait until the next sock goes missing, then I can make a pair out of the two oddballs. Sometimes this even works. But now I've discovered a new use for that other sock.

I was in my kitchen eating room temperature peanut butter with no shoes on, and I dropped some on one of my socks. I was thinking this meant I needed to put a new pair on, but then I remembered that odd one.
