Was sitting in line for a coffee from Tim Hortons today and noticed the bumper sticker on the beater Honda Civic in front of me. It said

Saw a fifteen-year-old beater Dodge Neon at school today with the bumper sticker "Life's too short to be driving boring cars."

A friend of ours used to live in a neighborhood in Cambridge that was also home to a beat old-style Beetle with a faded "Yeah, it's got a Hemi" sticker in the rear window . I loved that car.

You know the stickers which runners put on the back to show they've run a marathon or a half marathon? This one was more my speed, so to speak.
