Wow!
That's one of the nicest W126's I have seen in a very long time. Smoking dope on the price though, for $15k sure but $36k is a bit steep. |
Very nice. I would have thought it might bring $18k or so.

Oh I dunno. With only 9K on it it's good for at least another 30 years. I doubt anything you can buy for that price today will last half as long. Pity they had to wreck it with those damn pin stripes. And interestingly I notice that despite the unbelievable condition of the thing in general the wood is still peeling next to the passenger site air vent. I guess it's just an inherent stress in the design at that point that leads to that particular failure.

I had to LOL at the buy it now price. Low mileage 300 SD is not a collector car. Not too much difference in value between one with 9,000 miles and 50,000 miles. In my opinion it's a $5k car but I wouldn't be surprised if somone paid closer to $8k.

its already at $10K. I might pay 10 for that. Not $37k though

Its at $15k now which is what I would pay for it, simply because I have a soft spot for diesel W126's.
Although its not an SDL which is a better car. I'd remove the pin stripe, and that box with the red wires. What is that for? Other than that just drive it on nice sunny days. |
I wouldn't be surprised if there is some shill bidding going on. The reserve hasn't been met at $20k. LOL!!!!!!!!
|
$21k seems rich for that car, lets see if it pops up for sale again.
