ouch... about the only time I'd pick a Honda over its competitors is the NSX. I think it's an awesome car. If only the attitude of most who drive it was better.

Skyline GTR, Supra, RX-7, etc. I'd pick the NSX for sure.
I've heard stock ones run, so civilized yet has enough power when called for. Of course there are those that sound like Civics.....

It's painful to see these trashed exotics...... very painful. Makes me happy to know that my slow diesel has probably saved my a** many many times...

so many of them seemed to have crashed at such a high speed. I hope they were doing a track day... and not foolish speeding on the freeway.

i love the NSX too

if i remember correctly...when Honda was developing the NSX some race driver named Ayrton Senna :-) test drove it around the "Ring" :-) and have his feedback

to this day everytime they test the NSX everyone raves about its handling...now if Honda could put in a nice V8

-Ren

PS 91 NSX are pretty cheap these days also :-)

Was picture 9 under the Diablo the car that was racing the Corvette that killed the couple in the Volvo (and the Diablo driver)on Long Island? Damage looks non-survivable. Just being macabre here!

Whoever it was, he must've been pretty rich and stupid/drunk. What a waste! Isn't that the new Lambo 6.0???

You got it - the vette and lambo were street racing. the lambo driver died too. his wife was hospitalized and the vetter driver went to jail. I hope the others weren't as tragic as this one was.

I like the Hummer

Thinking outside of the box for protecting the occupants in an accident.

I know of two:

Bernd Pischetsrieder (new boss at VW) wrecked one in a high speed autobahn crash while he was a big cheese at BMW (who made the V-12 engine).

And a newly rich guy trashed one in Essex (killing himself). A friend with a rather goulish sense of humour pointed out the burn mark in the road. Apparently he lost control at 150mph (which on a British back road with super stiff suspension is hardly surprising).

The F-50 makes me want to cry. It looks like it was racing on a track though.
