You can catch the first 2 years on Netflix. The story line takes most of the first year to find its stride but even after the 3rd episode, it is a compelling story and only gets more and more so with each episode. It is not pretty; in fact, entirely the opposite. Gritty, morally conflicted on many levels; masterfully filmed and written. It is an epic story of survival.

The 3rd year just started in January.

I watch it. I like it. Took a few episodes to get its footing though. I recommend it. The 100 and The Expanse are both pretty excellent shows!

I'll check out The Expanse. Just got caught up with The 100, which is a great binge watching show.

Even if one is not all that fond of si-fi as a genre, The 100 is a first rate drama and represents the state of the art in overall production quality. Plus the show producers like to not only move the plot along in interesting ways, but they change shooting locations, and the combination goes a long way to keeping the story interesting.
