Do not get a cheap plastic 'one size fits all' cover unless you are trying to keep the dust off the car while in storage.

The first strong wind will make it flap around like a torn sail. Unless it is vacuum sealed to the car there is nothing that will stop it from eventually just being ripped off by the wind and blown away.

Custom covers made from a real fabric are expensive when you look at the prices for a plastic cover. But then a plastic cover is like no cover at all.

Covercraft makes great covers, so does wolf.

Polypropylene or nylon covers will take out your paint, if they get moisture between the cover and the paint there is no way for the moisture to get out and it ruins your paint.

If your car is nice, get a high quality canvas car cover. You want canvas/material that will not let moisture in but will let moisture evaporate out through the material.

I have a couple of carcraft covers and a couple of Wolf covers at this time. The carcraft covers are marine grade canvas on my Jetske's and have been sitting in my front yard for five years, they are excellent covers. Last season (after four years)I had to spend $50 to have them re-stitched. The Wolf covers are a bit higher quality and they fit your car like a glove.
