MBrace to the rescue

Technology can be a wonderful thing.

We landed in DFW tonight and we both remembered B3 as the parking spot. We assumed Terminal B area 3. Took the Skylink to Terminal B and went out to the parking structure only to find that there is no area B3. WTF???

Looked and look for about 10 min and then it occurred to me "hey, the car might be able to tell us where it is". Logged onto the MBrace app and it took about a min for the map to com up but low and behold the car was in terminal A in section B3.

So we boarded the tram to terminal A and got off. Well, B3 is a biiiiigggg section. So on to the app again and sent a message to the car to sound it's horn and lights. Did it about 3 or 4 times. It was kind of like playing "Marco Polo" with the car.

In the end we found the car. And it was right where we left it. I am sure we would have eventually found the car but the technology made it a heck of a lot quicker and easier. I was very pleasantly surprised that the MBrace found the car in a multi level parking structure. I was worried that the structure would impede the signal but it did not.

Thank you MBrace.

the Mrs. and I had a problem finding our car at the airport once too. Drove it in and parked it in daylight, and returned in the dark on the shuttle. The shuttle came into the lot from the opposite direction and we didn't realize that until we searched for a good while, then we started using the remote until we got close enough for it to work.

Those airport parking areas are huge!

this is a nice feature. For those of us who dont have it I use google maps to mark where I park when I am in a strange land. It doesnt quite work as well as pinpointing exactly where the car is but as a 21 year old I lost my car in Austin and must have walked miles looking for that thing. Maps would have saved me then.
