Phoenix shooting of bank robber - looks like something from 3rd world, oh wait
I mean, no marked police cars involved? This looks like something you would see a cartel do. Don't watch the video if you don't like seeing an alleged perpetrator get shot.
Phoenix Here is video graphic

Can it be seen in the video whether the suspect shot at them?

Looks like an execution without trial. Last I checked, we have courts to decide on punishment, not thugs clad in black with more guns than brain, shooting into a vehicle which could contain other occupants or even hostages.

That is exactly what it was. The guy was probably a scumbag but damn!
Let's review the ending. First off, they wad been tracking the guy for 15 minutes using a news cam helicopter. Other than speeding, some dangerous lane changes and running a red light he wasn't creating a public threat. He actually stopped for some red lights and for the most part obeyed traffic laws. It was weird to watch the chase. It looks as though they were following proper police procedures at this point. Isolate and immobilize the threat, well done on their part. A classic "spin, pin and block". The suspect was surrounded by police and had a 6 foot chain link fence at his back in an isolated area. Gotta give them an "A+" for their work, very professional. NOW is when it goes to shyte. The officer jumps out of his vehicle and IMMEDIATELY pumps 4 or 5 rounds into the windshield of the vehicle. No "hands up, throw down your gun" or anything! WTF? The guy wasn't going anywhere and there were no civilians in harm's way. The police had vehicles to shield them, what was the guy going to do? Shoot himself? If he got out of the vehicle he would have been an easy target and he sure wasn't going anywhere in the vehicle. They could have waited him out. The officer over-reacted. The shot grouping shows that. He's 10 feet away and check out the grouping of his shots. A six foot wide spread? It appears he is the only one who fires his weapon. This point is not exactly clear but from the two times I watched the news cam footage it appears to be the case. According to the news reports there were shots fired during the chase. Of course nobody knows who fired the shots. More than likely NOT the driver as I'd imagine he was busy driving. Two people had bailed during the chase and were arrested. If anyone had fired shots during the chase I'd suspect it to be one of the passengers, not the driver. Upon further review, it appears a second officer also fired his weapon. This does add a bit of explanation for some of the wide shot grouping.

More of a scumbag than Mozillo, Blankfein, or Corzine? He probably stole a few thousand, those people stole millions or billions.
