w211 2003 e320 wont start

Drove it to the store, came back and now doesn't start.

Starter working, engine turns but doesn't start.

Looking for the culprit. So far I've got:

-crank position sensor
-fuel pump

anything else I should be looking at?

car has been running fine till today. 160k miles

pp shows two fuel pumps, one main and one aux. any other fuel related items that could go bad?

I'm going to replace the cps anyway, since its easy and seems that they go bad on these cars.

any help would be appreciated.

thx

Fuel - air - timing - spark.

You sure you're not out of fuel?

Don't recall if tach is moving

After researching this problem I found that these vehicles had faulty fuel components and are on extended warranty for 15 years unlimited mileage.

MB dealer looked up the vin and this car came up.

So fingers crossed.

I also ordered crank and cam sensors

Fuel gauge shows half full but that may be faulty too.

I will report back. Car is going to dealer today.

The CPS sends the signal to turn the fuel pumps on so I guess the signaler died.
