Anybody familiar with MasterCam X10 software? I'm in the process of learning it and am having some issues with it. Most of the online stuff treat it as some mystical ability which can't or wont be explained to an un-worthy novice.

Specifically the use of "check surfaces" to define an area not to be machined during the contouring of a curved surface.
