acura vigor trim removal help

anyone have any idea how to remove the bumper/door guard strips on an acura vigor? my sisters got bumped in a parking lot and the most noticable thing is a dent in the door guard. I think if we can get it off we may be able to at least minimize how bad it looks. Any tips/advice is appreciated
