Friend's $2,000 microwave

So my friend apparently has a $2,000 microwave that has to be replaced: had six repairmen out and still not fixed (she is not happy to say the least especially since insurance is offering $200). Anyway, she said not finding any 36" with range hood. Asked her what depth, but doesn't know; my guess be 18" since has a hood and so expensive. Anyone have any recommendations?

Thank y'all in advance!

Find an actual repairman. There's like 4 and a half parts to it.

My thought also, but hard that she only texts and very sensitive (almost lost her as a friend twice so far this month).

Heard tonight they took it to their shop.

Think got Valerie fairly convinced that have to go with either a 30 inch with trim panel(s) which we both agree is hideous including wasted space or a hood. The latter not sold as likes the microwave at eye level, but suggested mount under a cabinet with appliance garage below. Also, with a hood can become a feature and being the kitchen is ten years old, might be good to change up a little.

get the part number and plug it into google. You might find the same manufacturer makes an updated unit.

I did this with a 25 year old built in microwave that failed and needed an exact fit replacement.
