Have you ever seen a car you use to own in a movie?
The movie is called The Minus Man filmed in 1999 and stars Owen Wilson as a serial killer who is hunted by the police and his own demons ,its kind of a strange flick. In one of the scenes he meets a girl artist ,they then leave a cafe, she drives out in a small brown Honda .It caught my interest being that I owned one once before and replayed the scene again, I slowed down the dvd and noticed some similiar markings ,a second look and its definatley the high school car I drove thru my school yrs .My first car which me and my dad rebuilt after he put several miles on it as his commuter car back and fourth from work.It still wears the brilliant brown color I spent hrs prepping and painting ,the old 73 Honda CVCC lived on for a few more yrs and recieved a little fame while out in Hollywood.

It doesn't count as a movie, but my office has a small film studio that they rent out for smaller productions. The director of a webseries saw my 220D out in the parking lot and wanted to use it for one of the characters to drive. I haven't seen the series, but apparently he's supposed to be a character that's "set in his ways" so it was fitting to have him driving an old crappy-looking Mercedes (it's mechanically sound, I swear! ).
They only filmed for it one time, so afaik this is the only appearance: https://youtu.be/zACgxDqiN5o?t=2m59s

A friend of mine had a Ford Country Squire, perhaps a mid 70's, that was a heap. She used it for a fishing wagon, picking up stuff at Walmart, hauling engines, etc....
One day, in Odessa, Texas a woman approached her and asked if they could use the car in the film 'Friday Night Lights'. She said sure. They wanted to show that Friday night football cut across all demos in small Texas towns, so when the parents are all headed in a caravan to the state playoffs then look for a beat up brownish Ford station wagon leading off all the newer cars. My daughter's 1986 Mercury Cougar was used this past Fall for some scenes in a Netflix Original, Mindhunter.
Heck, they shut down two restaurants in my small town for about a week each for scene shooting for another series this past Fall, too. They had the roads blocked off and all these cars in great shape trucked or driven in by the owners. Just this past December, they had the old Sears at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall transformed into an airport terminal for shooting a movie. 3 of my neighbors had cars in that parking lot. They were approached at the local cruise in over the Summer about having their cars used to fill the parking lot for the movie. I don't know what movie that is, but I'll ask when I see my next door neighbor again. All of the cars were late 1970's models in really good, original shape.

No Bricklin on that list. Bummer. I think there was a Bricklin, no mine, in 'Demon Seed' and in 'The Junk Man'. Junkman was the film before 'Gone in 60 Seconds'.
