Smile 'dub and Compu finally tie the knot

After 10 years together, 9 of them engaged, Lawson and I got married earlier this month.

I don't want to drag this thread into a political gutter, but the prospect of future changes was the kick in the butt we needed to get over to the court house. We had a simple ceremony which I thought was fantastic - my parents came out to DC, we had a video call up to Lawson's parents in WA, and 2 good friends joined us. It was nice to have the event be about the people there, not about the event itself.

We had discussed getting married before. We were / are both happy with how things have been going, so we didn't see any reason to change. However, once Lawson let me know he had made the arrangements I have to admit I was on cloud nine for the rest of the day

I'm still excited about our commitment, and hope the next 10 years is as fun as the first

-Jason
