Vacation attractions in PA, international tourist.
I will be visiting friends in Pennsylvania (around Altoona area) during April, but they have limited interest in things automotive or Mercedes. As a long term Mercedes and classic car owner / d.i.yer, I would like to ask members' suggestions for any Mercedes related events / club meets, any events or attractions that are automotive, railroad or transport related, or any other attraction worth seeing during April, that may not be on the typical tourist trail.

Reighard's Gas Station...one of the oldest in the country. Nice place with history
Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum. We stopped there last Summer. Plenty of railroad history there. For automotive related shows or events in the area, look here https://auto-locator.com/events

Excellent, thankyou.
The railroad museum was on the list, but the gas station hadn't been mentioned. Definitely worth a look in at only 20 minutes away. |
