Business Advice

Hey guys,

Most of my business experience is with resale but I've taken a stab at making my own product. I'm in a new place where I'm trying to develop a brand and also enter the market place.

I've introduced it on here previously, but as I made a website to show it off and it looks too "commercial", it violates some policy. I'll take it as a compliment. Anyhow let's keep it general enough of a discussion to not offend anyone.

It's a well engineered automotive fan controller. It's about as discreet as the factory installed one but it's adjustable, and universally compatible. It's also digital. So overall, it is miles above all the generic kits on the market.

So how does a top of the line, automotive aftermarket part gain traction and distinguish itself from the crowd?

Did you omit a link?

No, I didn't want the post removed for advertising. I'm rather interested in advice about launching a product or starting a business and getting customers.

I got my website ranking in the top 30 for a few relevant keywords, it's on my ebay page, and I've mentioned it a few times on fb groups. There's some nibbles, however, it's far from being an established brand.
