Throwing a suggestion to the wind - would anyone in Singapore/Malaysia be keen to have a weekend meet in Singapore and drool over our drives?

heh, I'd join if I was there :p though I'd probably drive nothing. Maybe the MRT... neah, can't drive that. Maybe I'll come in one of those Toyota diesels... Borrow one from the 'uncles'

I kinda miss that place though I only lived there for three years.

Maybe you should arrange a Mecedes day at the track and rent the track at Batu Tiga Speedway so everyone can have fun? I would fly there and play.
