Walter Becker - RIP
Walter Becker, who was one half of Steely Dan, has passed from this world...and the world will be at a loss for it.
Bro in Law went to High School with him and we were always invited over to his place when Walter was in town...not always the nicest guy but then we can all be that way sometimes. But the TUNES he turned out! |

My wife and I just listened to the entire Can't Buy A Thrill Album on a ride in the 1972 W115 220D after dinner tonight.
Closest thing to a memorial we could come up with ... I saw Steely Dan a few years back at the Austin 360 Amphitheater. I wanted the show to never end and my friends had to pry me off the seat at the end while I had a fit like a two year old. (beer may have been involved) Best band on the planet, hands down. Walter Becker will be sorely missed |

SD was one of my favorite bands. I'm glad I finally got to see them play a few years ago. Sorry to see another icon gone . . .
