Looking at 1983 635csi as donor car
Found it in the Auto trader for 800 bucks I think it's a auto but if the body is better than my car I may see what I can use for parts out of my BMW between that and turning the crank.
 Figured I would give an update

Yeah! 3.5 liter engine! Do it! You won't regret it and you'll have an ersatz 535i.
Now all you need to do is find a 535i cluster because your tachometer stops 1200 rpms short of a 535i's max revs of 6,200. Good luck on the project. -Sam

I had one and got rid off it. What I would more than likely do is use the tach I just got (below) or get another sunpro gauge.
    Check out that top speed 85mph (that will have to change too
|

here is a pic of what I have right now
 The car came with a 150mph speedo but that was changed in favor of a working odometer.
