Last dog I had was a Samoyed. She loved the snow and the free cheese slices from the cashiers at the Burger King drive-thru.

My first dog is Yogi (El Yogo). He's a German Shepherd/Husky mix. I rescued him from the animal shelter about fourteen years ago, and he was probably at least a couple years old then, so he's at least 112 in dog years! I adopted him the day before he was to be euthanized.

He was my best friend since the day I got him, even though my mom said I couldn't get a dog, so I had to move out of the house.

When we were living in a one-bedroom shack that was made out of pallets and scrap materials back in the 1800s and then moved to its current location.

I used to have a trailer on my bicycle so I could pull him around back when I couldn't afford a car.

He's been a very active dog who loves to run and chase balls.

Here's my second dog, Tasha. I adopted her about five years ago, so that probably makes her about 9. She was emaciated and had severe valley fever, which is a desert disease caused by fungus and it causes swelling in joints, and often death. She has improved quite a bit and is nice and plump these days. She is still shy and not trusting, though.

Poor thing was starved and her joints were so stiff she could hardly move without yelping.

Now she is my squishy!

Lazy T.

She loves her little bunnies that she finds in the yard.
