South Bend or Michigan City, IN--plenty of rooms at relatively low cost except for Notre Dame football weekends. South Bend has College Football hall of fame, Studebaker museum. Michigan City has Lake Michigan, riverboat gaming, and easy access to rolling dunes of southwest Mighigan. Rooms probably 40-50% less than Chicago, much less traffic.

Come up my new house and we can go fishing all others are invited as well, my house should be done sometime in July....God willing. I have a 20 acre private lake fed by the Looking Glass river full of MONSTER pike and walleye if a guy put his mind to it he could have a good chance at setting a line class record on pike. As an added bonus we can go breaking some sound barriers.....Vrooooooom
