Hi Liz!

Nice 240! I'm trying to talk my girlfriend out of her Toyota Camry and into an old MB. I got her mom to buy one just like mine, so she's coming around!

If this forum is still around eight years from now, my daughter should be a member...I'll start her off with a W126 tank for protection until she gets more confident with her defensive driving skills.

Otherwise, she seems partial to motorbikes...

tell me about it...
insurance is a pain in the butt...
but
maintainence is about the same as my 90 integra....
so i would have to disagree about that...(rule number one...DEALERSHIPS LOVE TO FINANCIALLY RAPE YOU IN MECHANIC FEES)......

Just find a reputible MB mechanic in your area...they usually charge anywhere from 50-70 per hour...labor....
whereas mb dealership mechanics (who by the way are text book learners...I've seen three different young mechanics with shop manuals open in their bays)....charge you about 125-200 per hour....
financial tyrannts!!!!!

Cool

I've got my girlfriend wanting a diesel Benz...she has to sell her car first, though. So there are actually two vehicles for sale here

My sister spots Mercedes on the rode for me and she started at 5. at one point I made Mercedes Flash cards with diffrent models on them. Now she likes the bmw because when I get on it my sifhts tend to be jerky.
Now I just have to make sure she gets a Mercedes

i was appalled to be following a brand new 2002 500sl...who drove it so slow (teetering 10 miles an hour)...i pulled up next to it and it was a girl
a girl...with another girl...
not more than a mere 16 yrs old...
driving it
ugh
i was so like "NO WAY"...and not to mention as she was trying to park it in front of the post office...she totally took the front right tire up the curb....
so much for the suspension and rims
guess it doesn't matter when you have that mush money where you can waste such a beautiful piece of equipment on a child who barely knows how to drive.
