No I do not have any experience with it. I have no use for it. I can do it very well myself. It's not even a thought, it just happens.

I bet you dont have a motor coach either. For shame, everyone who has arrived has a motorcoach and a C7 that cant be mentioned without a list of stats

Is it really a big deal to own a three-year-old Corvette?

Apparently some think so.

You do get that he has no interest in your Vette or the tech that it has. He looks at your Vette like you look at blue collar labor.

Rev matching is easy and fun. I drove a Z with the feature and while it is kinda neat, doesnt really do anything you cant do yourself. Rev matching and blipping thr throttle on downshifts is something any and all manual drivers should do so I do not really understand the point.

I agree with TBO. You either love driving a stick or you don’t. If you do, then “rev matching” is something you learned a long time ago even if you didn’t call it that.

It boils down to this; those who love driving a stick do it because they love it. Has innovation brought us technology that most people prefer? Yes, but that is not what a stick driver enjoys. For those who like clutch pedal alternatives, there are plenty of them for you and I’m happy for you. I like mixing my own gears and I would hope that folks will leave me to it.

No one here is saying you cannot enjoy it or holds it against you. You just have to understand that sticks are going away due to lack of popularity. That is just a simple fact of life.

RWD just seems to want to deride those of us who chose, for what ever reason, not to drive a stick. It will not change the future of the stick shift.

No you can choose to drive whatever you want for whatever reason, but to act like it's a better driving experience so everyone should be forced to do it is my problem. There are very few cars that were ever not available with an auto so that everyone could drive them. You can all buy autos and do as you please. But to not offer the driver of a performance car the option to do it himself is ridiculous. It's fine. It's all a trickle down effect and when the **** hits the fan and computers shut off no one will know how to do anything. How many people under 35 can read a map? Find a product without a computer? Drive a car with 3 pedals? I never said you can't enjoy your auto flappy paddle rev matchy symphony of computers, your all saying there's no reason to want it the other way. Maybe the next virus will be car computer killing. I'll be fine. There will be panic in the parking lots and driveways and I'll be happily enjoying my now empty roads

Uh. No not at all. I'd love to have an almost new m7 Vette to beat on. But I 100% guarantee there would be no rev matching happening unless I was doing it with my feet. You seem to have missed the point of just about everything I've said here.
