You’re allowed a free one once a year unless the rules changed. I got mine a few years ago. What a shocker to find out you have addresses you never really had

Credit Karma updates weekly. Also I know Wells Fargo( and many other banks) give you an updated FICO score quarterly within their interfaces.

https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action

You get a free one from each company (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion every twelve months. It's a good idea to stagger them to one company every four months.

Annualcredit report.com is the official free report website, by gov't mandate. And it's really free, no strings. Credit Karma has only Transunion and Equifax, and finances itself by selling you credit products and tracking your browsing data.

Ask the lender for their rejection reasons.

You are aware that there is a run on real physical money right now? The American banks have asked for more than the 100 billion dollar a day limit in physical currency. From the federal reserve bank. On some days reciently.

I do not suspect you will find your issue in your credit report. Could be wrong.

It may have been your negotiated reduction in a mortgage during the 2008 episode. Banks have long memories like elephants. Or they have their own problems at this time.

There is no slam dunk right now I suspect unless federally mandated to the banks

The sky is not falling yet I see clouds out there. A million dollars is little more than fifty thousand dollars when I was in my twenties. In Canada at least. So it is not really that big a deal in my mind.

It takes more than that just to buy an average decent house in the Toronto area. A house for only 440K was actually located in Toronto last month. I would not even want to see it. The average resale was also 996K last month.

I did not think I had a credit rating for a long time. It turns out my monthly payments of credit cards total balances at the end of each month enables one. We do not have a his and her money attitude. Still the wife has her own financial existence. It does not matter who pays what. Many Canadians are getting really turned off on their banking institutions. I am really pissed with the wives.

If the virus appears to be gaining a substantial position in north America. I am going to take some amount of physical cash out of the banks and stuff it into a safety deposit box. The next week or two should tell if I act.

Well, maybe, but I have received four mortgages now since the forgiveness, and it does not show up on my credit report. Maybe they have some other way of seeing it.

They'll send me a letter.

Hmmmm, when he asked me for net income I told him the number after paying the tax and mortgage....wonder if he wanted it before that?
