Toyota oil dipstick
Hi, I was looking at this 90 Camry to fix up and sell. The oil dipstick won't go all the way down. The guy told me that the last people who looked at it pushed the rubber gasket down the dipstick tube, so it won't go in. Ever seen anything like this? How could I get that thing out? How would I retrieve it if the thing got pushed down (further) in there while I was trying to get it out? Thanks in advance for any ideas. I'm thinking needlenose, but I'm nervous about pushing it further in. Thanks.

Depending how far it's been shoved down, even needlenose pliers may not help you. The dipstick tube will have to be replaced.
You may be able to cut out the offending section and weld an attachment from an OEM part...
