last debate

Hi I watched almost all of it and the post debate talking heads. The dead mike worked like a charm. In between was bad though.

Most of the time Trump acted like an adult but lacked substance. Promising all kinds of things are right around the corner may not sit with the moderates he needs to be successful this election. Uncle Joe stepped on his tongue a few times but still managed to be an adult.

The talking heads all thought their guy won.

I'd say it did not move the needle much for either guy. Trump by all indicatins needed a boost and might have gotten a small one. Joe just needed not to fluff it too band and he did a bit better than that, providing real substance on important subjects several times.

The talking heads all said the moderator won.

I’m not a fan of Trump and I couldn’t watch. I went back to the Eagles Giants game that was about equally disastrous. The debate nauseated me more. I hate seeing Biden struggle in the debates, and his life long stuttering issue come out during the debate. “Come on man.” And “Malarkey” don’t go over well in a debate, along with the smiling. I hope Joe wins. I am doing my best to respect and try to understand the opinions of all sides.

Trump did better than his detractors will admit. Biden did well too, but not as well as his supporters will claim. Doubt it made a huge difference either way either. I regard both candidates as seriously flawed, but for me the problem is Trump himself, and the ugly aspects of dumbed down religious peasantry that is taking over the Republican party. On the other side my problem is less with Joe than the raving nutjob loons taking over the democrat party. If Trump wins there will be no holding the medivalists back. If Biden wins hopefully there are enought adults in the democrat party to keep the raving street rabble in check.
I still think it's neck and neck.

- Peter.

Now that's well put. I walk a tight rope in the middle and I wish it wasn't that way. But go too far left or right and the nut job zealotry kicks in.

First of all, PLEASE put this stuff in ODPR?

Secondly, NO SUBSTANCE? Are you kidding? You seriously need to find a way to look at things objectively. Trump was nothing but substance in the last debate. He’s NOT a politician. There’s none of the looking into the camera and giving a lame politician hooey plea. That’s all Biden had. Such pleas are how slick politicians like Jokin joe get votes. Trump is NOT a politician. He’s about effectiveness, and the slick politicians and corrupt media hate him so much.

Our politicians today bring to mind the cheerleader elections we had in school back in the dark ages when we went to school. It was a popularity contest. From that we ended up with cheerleaders that weren’t very good, but they were the most popular because of their looks or other reasons that made a bunch of kids that knew nothing about cheerleading vote for them. Same thing with career politicians like creepy joe. He can look in the camera and give some empty plea with no facts behind it and con the gullible to vote for him, but once in office, he accomplishes nothing. 47 years and he has no significant or worthwhile accomplishments to point towards.

The corrupt media and the empty politicians are playing you like a cheap fiddle Tom.
