I'm glad you all think I'm a douchebag. Thanks.

I see both sides. Some motorcyclist always say they are not seen. I drive a '98 Jeep Cherokee. Either people don't see me or they don't care. Motorcyclist included. I also see the problem of runners, walkers, cyclist, mopeds not having proper lighting. Not good to dress all in black, when its dark out. |

As someone who has motorcycles I ride with the assumption that no one can see me and everyone is going to do dumb **** around me. I never put myself in the responsibility of someone else. I would be dead within 5 minutes if I rode a motorcycle like a cyclist.

Almost any day I ride in traffic ( not much traffic around here - but back in the day more so where I had been) some jerk wad does something stupid along the lines of not noticing my presence or just figuring so what. Push me off the road or left turn in front of me. whatever...
Over the decades this has led to some road side confrontations. I have been offended, then drive up next to the jerkwad and kick their driver door in a nice dent to make sure I have their full attention and they are now fully aware of my presence. Mostly they flee like the ignorant cowards they are. Some times they get pissed up on road rage and stop. while they are getting out of their ride swearing up a blue streak I put down the kickstand and just stand there waiting. Me in full leathers helmet face-shield gloves and steel-toed boots and all. him wearing only what is left of the fleeting part of his balzz and pride. For some reason they decide to stop just short of getting within kick azz range and flee also. I usually jump their trunk and pound a few dents before they get away, just because they made me stop. I have NO tolerance for morons that do not respect others on the road. |

The -GOOD- Thing Is :
No one here is in a third world hell hole where they're lucky to be able to afford a Moto instead of a bicycle or taking the bus....
No one is forcing anyone to ride anything anywhere . In the mid 1970's I lived in a third world hell hole and everyone they were amazed that I chose to sell my car and buy a 40 year old Harley-Davison , rebuild it from the ground up an used it for daily transportation . Different strokes for different folks is all . I'm sure that most bicycle riders fly under everyone's radar because they ride carefully, sensibly and prudently . Like any other jerkhoff, it's that what you notice, not everyone else just doing their thing . H.M. should consider this, why does he only like negative things ? .

What if they pull over and stop but do not get out of their car, SUV or truck? What do you do then? |

MORe husly man B.S.
Since this is just one more made up scenario because you're afraid of your own shadow, why even ask this pointless question ? .
