Yes, they do.

Nobody I know who took it liked it. Do you like sleeping in an airline seat? A friend booked a sleeper hated that too.

We would rather drive and sleep at a Marriott along the way.

Trailers don’t make sense for most users. They increase cost and inconvenience because the trailer requires maintenance and registration in addition to the vehicle itself. Most RV parks do not have anywhere to store the trailer, slots are sized for the RV itself + 1 vehicle. The big bruiser RVs can have high tow ratings but any gasoline powered RV has 5,000lb max tow capacity. If you chew up 1,500 of that with a trailer, there’s not much left for the car.

Post Auto Trains

You ride in the train, your car rides on a flatcar .

It sounds interesting to me, I've never driven the East Coast from North to South , I normally prefer to drive my self and sight see .

One of these years I'd like to visit Florida .

Possibly developed long before the interstate quality of roads came along. I Never knew that service still was in existence.

Back in the day all roads usually passed through all the towns enroute. Plus everything was two lane highways.

Before the trans Canada highway came along we could not do a thousand miles a day.Fairly easy to do a thousand miles now in about 17 hours. Was always two days in my early days.

NOOOO Don't say anything!

We need more classic cars junked for parts, to keep those cars out of the hands of people who don't know how to take care of them.

Post Amtrak Autotrail Sleepers

My sister always gets a fold down bed ~ it's snug but not like sleeping sitting up an an airline seat .
