I’ll third the Kia Soul . I bought one for my dad when he was still driving. While not a big guy, he had mobility issues. This car worked well for him as far as getting in and out of.

I was working on one of my Jeep Cherokees. I have one lifted 4.5 on 32's and one lifted 2" on 31's. The 2" is about right height for me to get in and out of. I noticed that the seat height a bit lower than the lower but cheeks made it easy to get in and out of.

It does look like the Soul was built around the driver. A little on the pricey side. I test drove a Kia Rondo sometime back. Bring ungainly, it might be more affordable.

well....can't speak about Kia's other models, but if they are building them anything like they are screwing together their Sorento SUV, you might want to stay clear.....
