Very happy day. Froze my azz off up in a tree and now I am processing venison :)

Taking a break to fry a third pound burger (Fresh AF - yummy even raw) with garden red onions, elephant garlic , hot yellow banana peppers in olive oil with a tad of sesame oil. .. and store bought shiitake mushrooms.

On pan toasted sourdough bread with extra sharp cheddar melted on. Tiny bit of mayo.

To the victor go the spoils !

I'll be at this until I sleep :)

Then back out in the wood tomorrow :P

Trying to get hungry enough for some more pumpkin pie...

Never any problem with me getting hungry enough for another piece of pumpkin pie. Finding enough room for another piece is the problem!

Got on the scales this morning and it said, "One at a time please"!:D

We had a greatly reduced gathering this yer, just SWMBO and I and our two foster boys .

We certainly have a lot to be thankful for ! .

I can't put it away like I used to, only two 1/3 full plates, I couldn't even taste everything .

The boys tore through everything, this is how it should be .

Sadly, our resident misanthrope, doesn't think this is a happy occasion....

woke up and cried hard remembering Becky my daughter. Wife can't cook any more so nasty grocery store turkey dinner. Grandson bought it. still eating it as wife will prepare meals for 4 days to eat. Food is so expensive is why I take vitamins. I stay depressed and can't cook. I like to go weeks without eating.I buy microwave ****.
