That's a good video all right. Years ago, lessee, about '77, I owned a Saab 96 (1967), it was the older model with the roundish back, sorta odd and cool looking at the same time. It was FWD with a V4 that was originally used in forklifts. The V4 was stronger than the earlier 3 cylinder 2 stroke but they left the clutch and tranny pretty much the same, or that's what I heard anyway.
Once when I had the whole thing out (pulled the engine and transaxle about 9 times over 5 years) I had the lid off the small FWD diff and I marveled at the engineering and machining that made the diff do its thing. Pretty inventive all right.
