A Los Gatos woman jailed since her October arrest on charges of hosting liquor drinking parties for her underaged son and his high school friends in which girls sometimes were allegedly sexually assaulted under her watch has filed papers seeking another shot at release on bail.

Shannon O’Connor, 47, is scheduled for a bail hearing in Santa Clara County Superior Court on Tuesday, Jan. 18. At her initial court appearance in October, Judge Johnny Gogo denied bail after the prosecutor argued she posed a flight risk and threat to the 15 alleged teenaged victims.

Not only that, this lady went way over to the kinky side. Somehow I think she’s going to get a long sentence for this.

Whoa, I searched the story some more, they had some mug shots of her without the mask on. A few hundred miles of bad road. It’s more confirmation to me that people’s evil thoughts show on their face. There is a predatory look to her face. Very strange.

One article said she faces 20 years or more in prison. The evidence would appear to be overwhelming.

Sadly I've met far too many like this, they're all shameless as well .

I've had a few girlfriends who were total freaks, that's fine but preying on children is awful .

I almost feel like an ass jumping on her the way I am. The photos of her with her mask on show a really lonely, guilty look in her eyes. I can only imagine that most of her friends and family have turned their back on her to some extent.

Would be a hard place to come back from. One article I read said that she would likely serve 10 years, then get parole. Would be 57 years old at that time.

This story is like a train wreck for me. Hard to turn away. I found this on the web

A source close to her family told The Daily Beast that they were not surprised when they heard of the charges against O'Connor, 47, because the mom is a "liar" who is usually surrounded by trouble.

“She’s like a bomb. Wherever she goes, she blows things up," said the source, adding that O'Connor “just thinks she's smarter than everyone else."

“Almost like a narcissist, one of these people who really pulls you in at first and you want to be their friend, but there are so many horrible lies.”
