I used to enjoy reading his articles in Car and Driver years ago.

'Wait...Wait Don't Tell Me'

RIP. I liked him on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. I didn't hear him anywhere else, read his columns now and then.

Another guy on Wait Wait I liked, Roy Blount Jr. I just checked, he's still with us but 80 years old. I don't think I've heard him on the show in a while.

A friend ran into PJO in a bar. By closing time, they were both in danger of getting a DUI. PJO drove my friend and his car back to his hotel since PJO lived in New Hampshire or Vermont and his home state didn't put out-of-state traffic convictions on residents' driving records.

I liked him until he started putting lots of right wing comments into his writing. It was a car magazine....who needs his political opinion?
