Jaguar XJ220 pics

Here is the only one I have up so far, you can't even see much of the car but I will have the others up soon. This is taken in our restoration shop, where all the cool cars come to life. This XJ220 was shipped in from California since our mechanic is now totally certified to work on them. It's either our shop or the factory in England, so I imagine we will have many, many more to show later. I just finished detailing a 1996 Bentley, and a 97 Lotus Esprit. I love my job.

After being crapped on by my Mercedes dealer for the past two years, I went to a "Taurus Dealer" and got me a 2003 Jag S Type R. The qualty inside is much better than the post 94E500 that I had and the car will outhandle an E55 if not ourun it. Things like connolly leather, a NAV system that makes sense, and a face that is pretty to look at swayed me. I will be on hiatus from Mercedes until they get it back together.

The S-type R is a BEAUTIFUL car. I have seen and driven about every kind of Jaguar made since 1957, even the very rare XKSS, and this one takes the cake. I hope you enjoy your driving experience, and if you are ever near the Indianapolis area and need some work done on your car, our shop is one of the best in the world, in terms of Jaguar. Happy motoring.

Is it being restored?
Let me guess, rich guy buys it, never drives it, car dies.
Or is it just in for servicing?
It looks very nice, just a shame it only got a V-6.
Still goes pretty damn quick though!

I have to assume the above comments "V-6" and "little roadster" are not referring to the XJ220...

Certainly look forward to seeing more pics, robbyd. Is that an XKE to the left of it?

That little V-6 is dangerous. The car is in for clutch repair. I do not know anything about the owner, but he has to be filthy rich. It will be there for a while due to the fact that we have to finish manufacturing all of the tools. You can't just buy them at your local auto parts store, they have to be made. That is an XKE series 2, with the big V-12. It's a roadster, we have two other v-12's one more roadster and one coupe, along with 4, 4.2 liter inline six roadsters. I really love the XK120's we have. We have also had the very rare XKSS and the D-type come in. Oh yeah, this is a mercedes forum. Well if any of you all know who Bonzi Wells is, he is a basketball player for the Portland Trailblazers who is originally from Muncie, He brings his S600 in from time to time. It is outfitted with 20 inch Giovanni rims and all the Audio/Video amenities one can imagine.
