Life is cheap.....$500 bux cheap....

We can't help but wonder what might have happened if this auto mechanic had had a firearm to protect himself with.......He might have gotten charged with a crime by the local liberal/left leaning communist driven district attorney but at least he would still be alive.....

In my opinion, using a story about a man losing his life as fodder for your political argument is cheap. Regardless, there's a forum for such posts. I'll include a link, so it'll be easy for you to find: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/off-topic-discussion-politics-religion/. You're welcome.

Interesting comment Volvo Diesel (what are you doing on a mercedes forum, BTW???). In my short time on this earth, I've observed an interesting belief amongst anti-gunners AKA anti self-defense blue-pill people....

In every case I've come across, individuals who truly believe all means of self-defense should be stripped away from every man, woman and child, have NEVER had their OWN lives threatened....

In other words, they live in a blissful, blue-pill society where every one is good and no one would ever want to harm them.....

My 1984 Volvo 240 Diesel was the first diesel car I bought. Eventually I picked up a few Mercedes diesels and have been reading this forum since around 2001. I've always really appreciated the help I've received, and kindness I've witnessed, on this forum.

Again, I don't think this is really the correct part of the forum to have these discussions. But I will say your comment surprises me, if for no other reason that it is so frequently the case that people from whom loved ones have been taken as a result of gun violence seem to support and encourage responsible gun ownership, and discourage the "I'll shoot you with mine if you shoot me with yours" mentality. In today's society, however, reasonable positions seem to rarely make headlines.

Talking WELCOME WIERDO !

.....And I mean that in the best way : you're a Diesel Head plus (I think) you're honest and compassionate so you're in the right place .

About husky man : he's a paranoid who happens to live in So. Cal. and owns a Mercedes 300TD .

Don't let him throw you ~ believe it or not he thinks he's being helpful by posting endless bull***** cops are bad stories .

Firearm safety is *very* important and IMO should be taught to every grade school student free of co$t .

Carry on please .

I challenge you to take a straw poll of both your family and friends. Ask them if they have EVER had a crazy man hold a forty-five caliber semi-automatic hand gun pointed six inches from their face with the safety OFF and his finger ON THE TRIGGER. Almost 99% of the people I know have never had that happen to them......

Smile And, So It Goes.......

husky man here is well known for making up wild stories to support his paranoia .

I was shot in the face with a .410 shotgun in the 1970's yet I'm not afraid and don't need to carry a firearm in spite of living in The Ghetto, a thing husky man surely doesn't .

This is definitely the wrong forum for firearms and paranoia threads .
