Interesting read, to me, about gut bacteria and brain link
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20230120-how-gut-bacteria-are-controlling-your-brain
https://cen.acs.org/biological-chemistry/microbiome/gut-might-modify-mind/97/i14 Simplified explanation: https://atlasbiomed.com/blog/9-ways-gut-bacteria-and-mental-health-probiotics-and-depression-are-linked/ Possible link to Parkinson's disease and other ' afflictions ' https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-00260-3 It's amazing to me how the food we eat impacts the bacteria in our gut, and that bacteria can impact our physical and mental health. |

One can affect one’s life IMO by adding prebiotics to your diet, while also adding probiotics. Resistant starch is an interesting item. Paleo man consumed more of it than we modern people do. Our digestive systems evolved for hundreds and hundreds of thousands of years on a much simpler diet than what we eat today. A lot of it was halfway hard to digest.
Mountain gorillas are considered to be the strongest animals on earth pound for pound, among the megafauna that is. They have large bellies because their colons are digesting various types of hard to digest starches and fibers. I’ve been slacking off lately. I need to work on moving to simpler, more Paleo fare.
